THE SCOOP MAGAZINE

Client: The Scoop Co.
Role: Lead Designer & Art Director
Project Type: Editorial
Year: 2019

In February 2019, The Scoop Co., a Brunei-based multimedia platform known for its insightful news and cultural commentary, launched its inaugural print magazine. Timed with Brunei's National Day, the magazine aimed to encapsulate the nation's spirit and contemporary narratives through compelling design and storytelling.

As the Lead Designer and Art Director, I was responsible for crafting a visual identity that resonated with The Scoop's ethos of delivering thoughtful and in-depth narratives. The cover featured bold serif typography set against Brunei's national yellow, symbolising pride and modernity. Inside, a minimalist layout with full-bleed imagery allowed local photography to shine, ensuring content remained the focal point.
