Hari Belia Kebangsaan (National Youth Day) is an annual event hosted by the Brunei Government, inviting young local entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses.
Project overview
The event brings together young people across four key clusters: creative arts and businesses, social enterprises, volunteering bodies, and sustainability-driven initiatives.
The visual identity was designed as a flexible graphic system rather than a static logo. Built around modular elements, the system allows the identity to adapt across different shapes and formats that represent the four clusters, encouraging long-term scalability and creative exploration. The logo symbolises change, innovation, and progress within Brunei’s youth, supported by a vibrant five-colour palette for dynamic communication.
Creative Lead: Liyana Hanif
Design support: Ibrahim Yussop
Challenges
The project was delivered within a two-week timeline, requiring rapid concept development and execution. A high volume of event collaterals had to be designed and rolled out within a short timeframe, all managed independently, making efficiency, prioritisation, and consistency essential.

Results
The identity was rolled out across event materials and applications, establishing a bold and future-facing visual presence for the celebration. As part of the outcome, the logo was also produced as a 3D-printed object and personally presented to His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei.
